Deon has over 24 years of experience in the field of Electrical / Power Systems Engineering, mostly in Australia, more recently New Zealand and previously in South Africa. His areas of expertise are in Electrical Building Services Engineering and Critical Computer Facility designs in a wide variety of projects.

Deon gained significant experience in Australia in design and installation of electrical services for commercial, residential, hospitals, telecommunications and reticulation. His experience covers the design process from concept to detailed design, and project award and supervision. Deon has expertise in coordinating very large multi-discipline projects including shopping malls. Prior to his move to Australia, Deon gained experience at Telkom SA working as a technical officer in fault finding, installations and telecommunication reticulation and planning.
